Other Tools for Stress Reduction: Meditation and Affirmative Thinking

The Law of Attraction teaches us that like attracts like which means what you think about you bring about into your life. You can have anything that you want if you believe that you can have it. So if you think positively, not only will you attract good things into your life, but you will also serve your life’s purpose by achieving a state of well-being and joy.
Since the creation of the movie the “The Secret”, most people do not question that being more positive means that they will have more of what they want from life. The problem that most people encounter is that they have a hard time understanding how to get positive about the things that they don’t have. That is where meditation and affirmative thinking come in. Meditation and affirmative thinking are tools that help people remove, not just negative thoughts from their minds, but also the consequence of negative thinking which is stress from their lives as well.
Meditation is about connecting to your higher self. Your higher self exists in a state of emotion that is completely positive so; therefore, when you meditate you will become more positive and feel more relaxed. Practicing affirmations is the best way that I know to change a negative belief about something into a more positive one. A belief is just a thought that you keep thinking and an affirmation is practiced because someone wants to activate a positive new thought about a subject that they have a negative belief about. If the affirmation is practiced long enough then the subconscious mind will believe it and, when that happens, then the manifestation of what the individual wants must be.
I work with my clients to help them understand, not only is it possible for their stress to be reduced with Quantum Biofeedback, but I also teach them about the law of attraction and I teach them powerful tools such as meditation and affirmative thinking so that they can better manage their own stress in the future.
The Joy of Meditating

Mediating is very important. It puts you in a state of joy and receiving what it is that you want from life. The purpose of meditation is to connect to your higher self - your inner being. Your higher self lives in a state of consciousness that is pure joy. When you connect to that part of you, you become more joyful as well. When you constantly connect to your higher self, your life has to get better because you are connecting to pure positive energy which means, if you are sick, in meditation you are connecting to that which is not just positive but healthy too so you must become healthier with time.
I live in New York City and I have always found it difficult to meditate because of the noise outside. Recently I have discovered Sanaya Roman’s meditations online. Sanaya Roman is a channel for Orin. These meditations are different than most meditations that I have listened to because each one is designed for a different state of consciousness. I like them because they are very specific and I experienced the benefit from them rather quickly. With each breath in, I draw in light.
I expand into the light of
my soul and Higher Self
as I breathe in.
I draw my soul’s joy
into my body,
feeling my cells
sing with a new note of joy.
I adjust my posture
so that my soul’s joy
flows through my body.
My body feels and responds to this soul joy
in many positive ways.
I imagine doing something
that brings joy to my body.
I make time to do this.
I allow myself to feel this note of joy.
I smile as my soul
rings its note of joy within me.
I picture doing something that
brings me a smile in my heart.
I make time to do this.
I think of my day ahead
or my day tomorrow.
I think of something to do
that increases this note of joy.
I make time to do this.
As I sound the note of joy in my life
I lighten the burden of those around me.
As I live in the rhythm of joy
I grow more radiant everyday.
As I allow myself to live a joyful life
I create joyful relationships.
I now experience the joy of my soul
I let go of those things that do not bring me joy
I now draw more opportunities
for joy into my life.
I know what I love to do
that brings me joy
and I do it.
I believe I can live a joyful live,
and I do.
Being Your Higher Self

I sit in a comfortable position
that allows me to feel relaxed.
My spine supports me
and my body is comfortable.
If possible, I sit so that each
vertebrae of my spine is lined up,
one on top of another.
I imagine I am adding light
in-between each vertebrae,
allowing a clear flow of energy
up and down my spine.
I take a deep breath in
and surround myself with light.
I call light to myself
until I am bathed
in radiant light.
I pay attention to my breathing,
letting my breath flow
easily and gently through me.
I sit up straight and
put my shoulders in a position
that allows my chest to be open
and my heart center expanded.
I imagine I am becoming my higher self.
My mind is clear and alert.
My emotions are calm and peaceful.
Energy is flowing smoothly and
harmoniously throughout my body.
I am at peace with myself and the world.
I now receive
transmissions from my higher self
to assist me in
becoming my higher self.
I open to receive
the energy of my higher self.
I draw in its harmony, clarity, and vision.
I imagine all the elements of my life
coming into greater harmony.
My vision is expanding.
My thoughts are clear.
I now receive from my higher self
its love, compassion, and wisdom.
My compassion is growing.
I have more compassion for myself
and I have compassion for all living beings.
My higher self is a wise teacher
that knows no limits.
I am expanding beyond my current limits
in every area of my life
as I become my higher self.
I ask my higher self for insights,
revelations,
and expanded awareness.
I know that as I ask for these things,

is developing new qualities of love,
spiritual power, and wisdom within me.

answers and guidance.
I affirm that I will pay attention,

I am calm and serene,
