Other Tools for Stress Reduction: Meditation and Affirmative Thinking

May 14, 2008

The Law of Attraction teaches us that like attracts like which means what you think about you bring about into your life. You can have anything that you want if you believe that you can have it. So if you think positively, not only will you attract good things into your life, but you will also serve your life’s purpose by achieving a state of well-being and joy.

Since the creation of the movie the “The Secret”, most people do not question that being more positive means that they will have more of what they want from life. The problem that most people encounter is that they have a hard time understanding how to get positive about the things that they don’t have. That is where meditation and affirmative thinking come in. Meditation and affirmative thinking are tools that help people remove, not just negative thoughts from their minds, but also the consequence of negative thinking which is stress from their lives as well.

Meditation is about connecting to your higher self. Your higher self exists in a state of emotion that is completely positive so; therefore, when you meditate you will become more positive and feel more relaxed. Practicing affirmations is the best way that I know to change a negative belief about something into a more positive one. A belief is just a thought that you keep thinking and an affirmation is practiced because someone wants to activate a positive new thought about a subject that they have a negative belief about. If the affirmation is practiced long enough then the subconscious mind will believe it and, when that happens, then the manifestation of what the individual wants must be.

I work with my clients to help them understand, not only is it possible for their stress to be reduced with Quantum Biofeedback, but I also teach them about the law of attraction and I teach them powerful tools such as meditation and affirmative thinking so that they can better manage their own stress in the future.

How to Create Health

March 27, 2008

What happens to our physical bodies is a reflection of our thoughts and expectations. Through negative thinking, we cut ourselves off from all that we can be and have. It is not that certain things are not for us. It is that we do not allow ourselves to have what we truly desire because we cannot imagine how it will manifest itself in our lives. Because we do not allow ourselves to live up to our full potential, we limit our well-being which is our divine right and our legacy.

Because this is an attraction based Universe, physical problems are a manifestation of negative thoughts and feelings within ourselves. It is hard to believe that we create our own problems but we do! In the movie “The Secret”, there is a segment in which they discuss health. They illustrate that the reason why we have physical problems is because of stress within the body. They also illustrate that we have self-healing powers within us and it is our lack of belief in these abilities that we fall prey to any illness or physical problem.

However, it is difficult to tell someone who is ill that not only did they create their illness but that they are the only one who can reverse it. The distance from sickness to wellness is an emotional journey first which means that you must go there in the mind before you can go there in the body. You must imagine yourself being well to actually be well. As humans we are conditioned to believe that we need to be reliant on others for our well-being. We do not understand that our well-being comes from within us. Your health is not the responsibility of any health practitioner. Your health is your responsibility. Your well-being is your biggest priority. Your life is determined by how you imagine yourself to be beginning right now.
